I worked on animating 4 educational videos for Techmap - who provide a standard course for in-house and agency-side tech recruiters to increase sales through understanding technology.
Developing the visual aesthetic for the videos, it was important to ensure the videos were engaging and easy to learn.
The aim was for learners not to just sit and watch, but also engage with the content so it sticks.
Since the videos reached a global audience, the videos used simple and identifiable geometric shapes as a tool to help clearly explain otherwise complex concepts.
Working with the TechMap team, we developed a simplified way to help users understand technical concepts and language.
This was reinforced in the visual design where the colour palette was reduced to primary colours and I used the Gestalt principles to present the information in a way that was easy to understand and grasp over the course of the 4 videos.
