A showcase of the SBS Dateline features I have worked on throughout 2022. I worked with the story producers to design and animate graphics that assisted in displaying important information or story points relevant to each feature.
After 14 US Republican-majority states immediately enacted strict abortion laws following the overturning of Roe v Wade, an underground network of women began helping people access now illegal pregnancy terminations.
I worked with SBS Dateline on the motion graphics of this short feature uncovering the new abortion ban in the US.

I worked with SBS Dateline producer Darren Mara to create the motion graphics over 3 sequences for his story on the crusaders fighting against COVID-19 vaccine misinformation.
The graphics ranged from full screen information display graphics, newspaper headlines to graphic stat supers that were tracked and comped over footage.

It started out as the holiday of a lifetime and quickly turned into a ship in lockdown, searching for a port in a COVID-19 storm. Dateline charts the story of the MV Greg Mortimer cruise ship that left Argentina three days after coronavirus was declared a pandemic.
My role in this feature was to create motion graphics that would assist with the storytelling of the piece. This involved creating map designs to illustrate the intended & actual route of the ship, as well as recreations for the documents related to the story.
