Comic Sans Must Die

On it’s 20th birthday, I decided to explore the world's most hated font - Comic Sans by tracing back it's origins and history and examine it's sheer ubiquity in our everyday lives.

My role on the short feature was producer & lead motion designer. For the creative direction, I wanted to highlight the history of Comic Sans by returning back to the hand drawn aesthetic that it originally drew inspiration from. The graphics were fun, vibrant and playful and heavily featured illustrations I drew which were animated to interact with the presenter - Marc Fennell.
