Working with the Groupee team and expanding on the art direction designed by Love + Money & Vera Babida, I led the motion design rollout for the brand.
This involved animating the Groupee brand logo, providing all video & motion assets for the website, developing a motion system for the brand illustrations and developing the motion elements throughout the Groupee app.
I worked on animating the brand logo to be used across all marketing collateral and in product. For the animation, I wanted to reflect the core essence of what Groupee does - a pay-platform that brings people together.
This is reflected in the logo animation, which starts with the split payment imagery developed in the app platform.
To bring in the logo, I saw each letter as it’s own personality, reflecting the different people who would use the app. Each character animates on in different ways, finally resolving to the final brand logo.
I worked with the Groupee team and True Agency on providing video and animated content for the Groupee Website.
Working with Lottie animations, I designed the Groupee brand mark animation that would transition into different brand colours as you scrolled down on the landing page.
I worked on creating the animations for the brand so that they were featured throughout the Groupee app. I set up the hero animations so they were delivered as Lottie files that could be easily integrated throughout the UI and bring life into the user experience.
